One can almost hear Pietersen's inner thoughts "I wish he wouldn't do this everytime I initiate a serious conversation! I am getting sick of this!"
KP's inner thoughts (continued): "I may not be king, but I do feel that I am entitled to my crown, however small it may be. I wish they will let me wear this on the field. That will show that brat, Yuvraj, who is the better cricketer. I am sure it will make him quake a little bit."
One'd think that a guy who is single-minded and ambitious enough to play for Hampshire, acquire British citizenship after being given a raw deal in SA would also demand a free reign at the helm. They (ECB) knew that it might come to something like this when they handed Pietersen the captaincy. Didn't someone want to smooth things over esp with the Ashes this year.
ReplyDeleteAnd Yuvraj is now one-up on KP. He gets to lead Mohali in the IPL :). While KP doesn't even lead Hampshire ! The pie-chucker must have had a chuckle.
